Cutfile-Crew - Layout ohne Titel

Sommer, Sonne, Cutfile-Crew! Wie immer am letzten Sonntag im Monat stellen wir euch wieder eine neue Plotterdatei vor und zeigen euch Inspirationen dazu. Diesmal hat Krissi uns die This Moment Floral Cut File von Vicki Boutin ausgesucht. Nachdem ich im Juni pausiert habe, war ich diesmal wieder dabei. Wie eigentlich immer im Sommer scrappe ich derzeit eher wenig. Diese schönen Blumen wollte ich mir aber nicht entgehen lassen.

Wie so oft ist dieses Layout auf den letzten Drücker entstanden. Überlegt hatte ich mir das schon seit ca. 3 Wochen, die Umsetzung begann dann zweieinhalb Stunden vor Veröffentlichung. Verwendet habe ich zweimal den gleichen Bogen Papier aus Vicki Boutins Kollektion "Color Study", einmal die Vorder- und einmal die Rückseite, plus ein paar Stanzteile und Sticker aus der gleichen Kollektion.

Ab und zu ein paar Geigen

Urlaub :-) Derzeit habe ich drei Wochen frei. Letzte Woche war ich in Ostfriesland und habe auf der Rückfahrt ein Lied gehört, dass ich bis dahin nicht kannte und gleich superschön fand. Dank Musikapp lief es die noch ca. 400 km bis nach Hause dann quasi in Dauerschleife. Wer es mal ganz hören möchte, bitte hier klicken. Da wusste ich dann auch gleich, dass Teile des Textes auf ein Layout mussten. Das passende Foto war auch frisch aus Ostfriesland.

Holidays :-) I am off work for three weeks at present and spent last week in East Frisia (the coast region in North West Germany close to the Netherlands). On my way back home there was a song on the radio I hadn't heard before but liked instantly. Thanks to my music app I played it almost non stop for the remaining 400 km. If you would like to listen to it, there is a link above, but please note that the text is in German. I also knew that parts of text had to go on a layout. The matching photo was taken in Schillig/East Frisia. Title taken from the song: "What I need sometimes are a few violins to show me beauty so that I don't overlook it." Subtitle: And sometimes the sea is enough.

Läuft - oder: Liebe auf den ersten Blick

Schon beim Anschauen von Sylvias Video mit der Vorstellung der Kollektion "Color Study" von Vicki Boutin hab ich angefangen mit der Bestellung. Das war Liebe auf den ersten Blick, und ich muss wohl von dem Papier noch nachbestellen. Das ist für mich so eine Serie, bei der man es so richtig krachen lassen kann. Mehr ist mehr! Wenn ich mir andere Layouts damit auf Instagram so anschaue, war ich eigentlich noch richtig brav.

Das Papier mit den bunten Kreisen war ja so schon toll, allerdings war mir mal danach, es nicht einfach in seiner ursprünglichen Form zu verwenden, sondern ein bisschen damit zu spielen, um den Hintergrund ein bisschen chaotischer zu machen. Das Layout erzählt zwar keine tiefgreifende Geschichte, aber es ist bunt und hat mir sehr viel Spaß gemacht.

Even while I was still watching Sylvia's video presenting Vicki Boutin's "Color Study" collection I started ordering. It was love at first sight and I will have to order more paper. This is one of the collections to really use a lot of product on one layout. In other words - more is more... Looking at other layouts with this collection on Instagram I would say mine is still quite restrained.

The paper with the coloured circles was aleady great in its original form, but I felt like not using it as is but play a bit to get a somewhat messier background. The layout does not tell any particularly interesting story but it is colourful and I had so much fun making it.

Auch für das Fellvolk sind Papierpizzas immer ein Ereignis. Fuchur hat das Knisterpapier für sich reklamiert und verteidigt es tapfer.

The cats also appreciate crafty pizza boxes. Fuchur has claimed the tissue paper and is defending it valiantly.

Kleine Ansage

Wichtiger Hinweis für das Kleinvolk: Nicht die Chefin ärgern! Mittlerweile ist sie zwar die Kleinste, das die Jungs schmollen immer noch, wenn sie ihnen mal wieder gezeigt hat, wer hier das Sagen hat.

Important note for the kittens: Don't mess with the boss! She is the smallest now, but the boys still sulk wheneve she shows them who is in command here.

Ach Schatzi - Cutfile-Crew

Endlich Frühling - da passen kräftige Farben natürlich super. Als ich das Layout gemacht habe, war allerdings noch Depri-Regenwetter, und da waren die auch passend als Stimmungsaufheller.

Für Mai hat Jacky der Cutfile-Crew eine schöne blumige Aufgabe gestellt mit der Gratis-Datei "Floral Heart" von Paper Issues. Von Pauline habe ich schon länger kein Layout mehr gemacht, daher durfte sie in Blumen baden. Außerdem habe ich nochmal ein paar ältere Papiere und Embellishments verwendet, aus der Kollektion "Hello Sunshine" von Fancy Pants, sozusagen als persönliche Aufbrauch-Challenge.

Finally spring, so I considered bright colours a good fit for this month's Cutfile-Crew's page. When I made it we still had dull rainy weather and I could use something to brighten my mood.

For May Jacky picked a flowery challenge for us, using the "Floral Hearts" freebie by Paper  Issues. I haven't made a layout about Pauline for a while, so I let her bathe in flowers. As an additional personal challenge I have used some older papers and embellishments from the "Hello Sunshine" collection by Fancy Pants.

Aus den Resten vom letzten Cutfile Crew-Layout habe ich dann noch eine Karte gemacht.

Taufkarte und -geschenk

Wenn der Kindsvater Jäger ist und die Oma auf dem Hirsch besteht... Auch Hirsche sind ja Geschöpfe Gottes, und es muss nicht immer der Fisch sein. Die Karte habe ich auf spontane Bestellung hin noch zwei Stunden vor der Taufe gemacht.

This is the result of the baby's father being a hunter and grandma insisting on a stag for the baptism card. Oh well, stags are also creatures of God and fish are not the only animals that could be on a card. I made this two hours before the baptism service upon the grandma's request.

Der Spielzeugkorb, den ich unter anderem verschenkt habe, ist immerhin ca. 10 Stunden vorher fertig gewesen :-) Das Schnittmuster gibt es kostenlos bei Pattydoo.

One of my presents to the baby was this toy basket. At least this was ready 10 hours before the baptism. It is based on a free pattern by Pattydoo.

Passend zur Jahreszeit hat uns Ghizi für diesen Monat den "Vintage Spring Truck" von Paige Evans ausgesucht. Ich hab mich mit Papier und Die Cuts aus der Kollektion "Day Dream" von Cocoa Vanilla ausgetobt, plus bisschen Felicity Jane, Pinkfresh Studios und Obed Marshall.
