Kleine Erklärung für Nicht-Französischsprechende: "accro" heißt süchtig, und da Emilie und ich süchtig nach Scrapbooking sind bzw. ich sie damit angesteckt habe, nennen wir uns manchmal Familie Accro. Bei meinen Süchten ist neulich ja noch Nähen dazugekommen. Emilie wunderte sich neulich, warum ich so lange noch auf war, da ich normalerweise ja spätestens um Mitternacht ins Bett gehen würde. Daraufhin habe ich gesagt, dass Mitternacht aus dem AC-Zeitalter stammt, was Emilie innerhalb von Sekunden korrect als "avant couture", also ehe ich angefangen habe zu Nähen, identifiziert hat.
If you do not speak French: "accro" means addicted, and as Emilie and I are both addicted to scrapbooking (she actually caught the bug from me) we sometimes call ourselves the "accro family". As you may have seen I have recently added sewing to my list of addictions. Emile was surprised when I was still up late, saying that I usually go to bed at midnight at the latest. I ansered that midnight is a word from the AC age, which Emilie identified withing seconds as "avant couture", i. e. before I started sewing. The screenshot was taken just after 2 am by the way.
