Amazing Momo

Sein Lieblingsruheplatz - aber irgendwie schaut Momo, als ob er die Weltherrschaft anstrebt.

That's his favourite place to relax, but somehow Momo looks as if he wants to take over the world.

Außer dem Material aus dem Kit habe ich noch diverse Sprühfarben verkleckst und ein paar Nuvo Drops verteilt. 

In addition to the items from the kit I used various spray colours and some Nuvo Drops.

Purrfect

Kit ohne Katzen geht nicht :-) Außer den Materialien aus dem Kit habe ich noch ein bisschen mit Gesso rumgeschmiert und ein paar Nuvo Drops verteilt.

No kit without cats :-) In addition to the supplies from the kit I used some gesso and Nuvo Drops.

Nochmal zwei Fliegen

Auch diese Karte hat zwei Anlässe - Geburtstag und Umzug - und jetzt ihr Ziel erreicht.

This card had a dual purpose too (birthday and moving house) and has now reached its destination.

Der Hintergrund im Rahmen ist ein Rest vom Januar-Kit von Scrapabilly, dazu habe ich ein paar Sticker aus meiner aktuellen Lieblingsserie "Good Vibes" von Crate Paper ergänzt.  

The frame background was left over from the Scrapabilly January kit and I added some stickers from my current favourite collection "Good Vibes" by Crate Paper.

Frisch entschimmelt

Den Kreis, den ich aus dem Papier vom ersten Layout ausgeschnitten hatte, konnte ich ja nicht so einfach ungenutzt lassen :-)

I couldn't ust leave the circle that was left over from the first layout unused. :-)


Der Stempel aus dem Kit ist so schön. Er eignet sich hervorragend für kleine Akzente. Gestempelt habe ich mit Archival Ink.

The stamp from the kit is really nice. It is great for small accents. I used Archival Ink for stamping.

Außer den Sachen aus dem Kit habe ich noch ein uraltes Mister Huey's-Spray verwendet, außerdem meine heißgeliebten Nuvo Drops. Zu den Farben des Kits passen die Farbtöne English Mustard, Sugared Almond und Ebony Black perfekt.

In addition to the supplies from the kit I used an ancient Mister Huey's spray plus my dear Nuvo Drops. The colours of the kit co-ordinate well with English Mustard, Sugared Almond and Ebony Black.

Passt schon

Eigentlich wollte ich ja ein "dezentes" Layout für die aktuelle Challenge bei Pink and Paper machen. Der Versuch war aber genauso eigentlich zum Scheitern verurteilt.

Actually I wanted my layout for the current Pink and Paper challenge to not be very colourful. I should have known that this was a vain attempt from the start.

Journaling: Who says that unicorn socks are not appropriate for my age? Of course there are, it's even written on them!


Die Papiere sind aus meiner aktuellen Immernochlieblingskollektion "Good Vibes" von Crate Paper, gespickt mit Glitter Girl-Embellishments. 

The papers are from Crate Paper's "Good Vibes" collection, which is still my current favourite, spiced up with some Glitter Girl embellishments.

Die Titelgestaltung musste ich zwischendurch nochmal umplanen, und zwar aus diesem Grund - had to change my title letters, for this reason:

Auf Instagram kamen schon diverse Vorschläge, was ich mit den überzählichen X-Buchstaben aus der Packung anfangen kann. Als Arbeitstitel für das Layout dazu habe ich "Xannenxackung" vorgesehen.

I got various suggestions on Instagram on how to use the extra Xs from the box. A possible title for a layout about this would be "Xannenxackung". (Admittedly that is not funny at all in English.)

Diese Buchstaben sind übrigens echt klasse, so große findet man ja als Thickers etc. nur sehr selten. So kann man auch mal normalgroße Thickers als den kleineren Teil des Titels kombinieren. (Ich mag ja Titel mit verschieden großen Teilen.) Sie waren in einem Nikolauswichtelpaket vom letzten Jahr, und auch ohne den sowieso nicht besonders oft verwendeten Buchstaben P kann ich damit immer noch sehr viel anfangen. 

In any case these letters are great, as large ones like these are rare. It is even possible to combine them with regular-sized Thickers as the smaller part of the title. (I like titles with letters in different sizes.) I got the box as part of a secret santa present last year, and as I don't use Ps often I will still be able to put the letters to good use.

Karten mit dem Aprilkit

Karten gehen auch sehr gut mit dem Aprilkit, ergänzt durch ein bisschen Distress Spray Stain, Nuvo Drops und ein paar Buchstabensticker aus einem Simple Stories-Stickerbogen. Zum Glück harmonieren hier ja die Farben zwischen den einzelnen Kollektionen immer hervorragend miteinander. 

The April kit is great for cards too. I added some Distress Spray Stain, Nuvo Drops and a few letter stickers from a Simple Stories sheet. Luckily the colours between their collections always co-ordinate well.

Total analog

Wer könnte auch ein Handy so schönen Notizbüchern vorziehen? Who could prefer a phone to such great notebooks?

Zusätzlich zu den Kit-Materialien habe ich noch Thickers aus dem Dezember-Kit verwendet sowie Nuvo Drops in der Farbe English Mustard.

Willkommen im Frühling

Das Scrapabilly-Aprilkit ist da, und ich liebe diese Farben. Hoffentlich klappt das jetzt bald mit dem Frühling. Passend zu den Temperaturen zum Frühlingsanfang neulich musste dann doch noch ein halbes Winterlayout her.

The Scrapabilly April kit is there and I love its colours. Hopefully spring will be inspired to make an appearance too. However, considering last week's temperatures on the first day of spring I had to make another somewhat winter themed layout.

Zusätzlich zu den Materialien aus dem Kit habe ich noch ein paar Kleckserein mit Distress Spray Stain ergänzt sowie Thickers in Bronze aus dem Dezember-Kit.

In addition to the kit supplies I used some Distress Spray Stain as well as the Thickers from the December kit.

Muggel

Was war zuerst - dieLayoutidee oder die Fotos? In diesem Fall war tatsächlich zuerst der Aufkleber mit dem Pizzastück, bei dem ich überlegt habe, was ich wohl damit anfangen kann.

Which came first - the layout idea or the photos? In this case it actually was the pizza sticker. I had been trying to figure out a way to use it since January.

 

Journaling: The Osteria guys sure know how to make great pizza. But there are certainly no scrapbookers working there, otherswise they would not have such stupid remarks on their place mats. (It says "Only beginners take pictures.")

Lehrerkind Live

Noch ein Layout für die Challenge von Paige Evans, auch wenn ich hier nicht ausschließlich Sachen von ihr verwendet habe - immerhin aber überwiegend.

Das Telefon-Embellishment mag für diejenigen, die Bastian Bielendorfer nicht kennen, merkwürdig wirken auf dem Layout. Allerdings heißen zwei seiner Bücher "Mutter ruft an" und "Papa ruft an", und teilweise kamen Geschichten daraus in seinem Live-Programm vor. Somit macht es dann doch irgendwie Sinn :)

The phone embellishment may seem odd for those who do not know Bastian Bielendorfer. However, two of his books are called "Mum's calling" and "Dad's calling" and some of the anecdotes were included in his live performance, so it does make a bit of sense.
