It's time for a new challenge on the Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog. As this month's inspiration Lisa picked the Not Just For Boys kit club with their Flurries Deluxe Theme Kit.
I am very happy to have been invited as the guest designer for January, and here's my kit:
Not winter-themed at all, as I do not have many such papers in my stash and no pictures to match a winter kit either. I therefore looked for a mix of subtle and bolder patterns and included a woodgrain paper and a cut-apart sheet. I was also inspired by the typewriter-style alphabet used, added a sticker sheet, mask, colours and embellishments including wood veneer.
My kit includes papers from Felicity Jane, Crate Paper, Vicky Boutin, Simple Stories, Pinkfresh Studio and Studiolight, plus embellishments from Simple Stories and assorted wood veneer pices from a recent Secret Santa present.

Nochmal ein bisschen kürzer auf Deutsch: Auf dem Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog findet ihr jeden Monat Inspirationen zum Kit eines Kit-Clubs. Ihr seid eingeladen, euch von diesem Kit inspirieren zu lassen, euer eigenes aus euren Beständen zusammenzustellen. Dabei könnt ihr euch an den Farben, dem Thema, der allgemeinen Zusammenstellung oder einfach an allem, was euch gefällt, orientieren.
In diesem Fall habe ich von dem Winterthema des Inspirationskits Abstand genommen, weil ich weder viele Winterpapiere etc. habe noch passende Fotos. Statt dessen habe ich verschiedene dezenter bis auffällige Muster gewählt, inklusive ein Holzmuster, einen Stickerbogen, diverse Embellishments und Wood Veneers aus einem Weihnachtswichtelpäckchen, eine Schablone und Farben sowie ein Alphabet, das an Schreibmaschinenschrift erinnert.
