Upcycling-Verpackung

Das süße kleine Körbchen, in dem Kirschtomaten waren, fand ich viel zu schade zum Wegwerfen. Das geschredderte Füllpapier aus Felicity Jane-Paketen hebe ich meist auf, und es macht sich gut als Füllung.

This cute little basket, which originally held cherry tomatoes, was too good to be thrown away. I usually keep the paper shreds padding the Felicity Jane parcels and they seemed ideal to fill the basket.

Die Sirups habe ich selbst geschenkt bekommen und werde sie auch selbst genießen, aber als Fotomodelle fand ich sie sehr passend. Mal sehen, was ich darin dann mal tatsächlich verschenke. (Da fällt mir ein, dass ich ja noch Johanniskrautöl ansetzen wollte...) 

I got the sirups as a present and will enjoy them myself, but they made good models. Let's see what I will actually put in the basket as a present to someone else. (Which reminds me that I wanted to make some St. John's wort oil.)

Das Foto habe ich auch in der FJ-Facebookgruppe gezeigt. Eine FJ-Mitarbeiterin antwortete darauf, dass sie ca. 40 (amerikanische) Pfund von diesem Füllmaterial pro Monat verpackt und sich immer freut, wenn es nochmal verwendet wird. Das fand ich total süß von ihr. Dass Seidenpapier aus den Verpackungen sieht man oft auch auf Layouts, aber das Schredderzeug tatsächlich eher weniger. 

I posted this photo in the FJ Facebook group. Someone working for FJ responded that she is packing about 40 pounds of this shredded paper per month and is always glad to see it re-used. I thought that was really sweet. You often see their tissue paper on layouts, but the shredded paper less so.
